A MAN was rushed to hospital after suffering a “medical episode” on a busy road in Colchester.
Two ambulance service vehicles were sent to Cowdray Avenue on Saturday afternoon after the man became unwell on a footpath.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called just before 5pm on Saturday, May 11 with reports that a man had suffered a medical episode on a footpath on Cowdray Avenue in Colchester.
“An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene. An adult man was transported to Colchester Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
