NEW roadworks have made a residential street “unsafe” for some vehicles, a bus operator has warned.
Essex bus operator First advised passengers Holly Road, Stanway, Colchester, has become “unsafe for buses due to temporary roadworks”.

In a statement on social media, it said a diversion is in place for its S2 service with buses driving past the turning for Holly Road before joining Blackberry Road and continuing the normal route.
The Openreach telecoms works in Holly Road started at 9.30am on Monday and are due to finish at 4.30pm next Tuesday.
Temporary traffic lights are in place in the meantime.
