BORED youngsters are being urged to show their support for a summer football tournament.
PCSOs for Alresford and Brightlingsea have joined forces to try to organise a football competition to take place during the long summer holidays.
The idea is still only in the planning stages, but PCSOs Louise Cox, for Alresford, and Dan Foley, for Brightlingsea, need youngsters to register their interest now or the event will not go ahead.
PCSO Cox said: "Working in a small village you get to know the kids and they are always coming out with we've got nothing to do', especially in the holidays.
"We are trying to provide for them."
Forms for people to register their interest are being held in Crossways, in Station Road, Alresford, and in Spirals, in Victoria Place, Brightlingsea.
