A woman has been banned from driving for three years after being caught over the limit for the second time.
Police were tipped off that Ford Ka driver Sandra Newcombe, 55, was over the limit on March 5.
She admitted she had been drinking when she was stopped in Clacton. A breath test revealed she was more than twice the legal limit.
A court heard she had a previous conviction for drink-driving.
Newcombe, of Sea Glebe Way, Jaywick, was given a three-year ban by Colchester magistrates and ordered to pay £60 costs after admitting drink-driving.
She was also ordered to get alcohol treatment counselling and to go on a programme for drink-drivers.
