Leeds made it four Stobart Super League wins in a row with skipper Kevin Sinfield setting a new club record in the 56-16 victory over Salford.

Sinfield scored a try and booted eight goals from 10 attempts to pass Lewis Jones' tally of 2,920 points for Leeds.

The Rhinos fell behind to a Vinnie Anderson try but rallied to lead 32-4 at half-time and Zak Hardaker also had plenty to celebrate with a hat-trick of tries.

Wing sensation Luke George scored his third hat-trick of the season to send Huddersfield two points clear at the top of Stobart Super League and put a dampener on Ian Millward's return for Castleford, who went down 42-4.

Millward, who returned to work this week from a month's compassionate leave, rang the changes in a bid to halt his side's five-match losing run but they were run ragged by a rampant Giants outfit who are starting to look genuine Grand final contenders.

Huddersfield ran in eight tries, three of them while down to 12 men through the sin-binning of Jason Chan, with George leading the way with some exceptional finishing to take his try tally for the season to nine in just six matches.
