Every game has become a must-win encounter for Colchester Rugby Club if their promotion dreams are to stay on track this season and that starts with the visit of old foes Thurrock to Mill Road.

Following their defeat at Bury last week, Colchester know they have a mountain to climb if they are to finish in the top two in London League division one north.

Colchester’s loss has allowed second-placed Sidcup to open a nine-point gap on the chasers and Colchester coach Danny Johnston knows that nothing short of a win against Thurrock will do tomorrow.

Johnston said: “Every game is now essentially a season’s decider. We simply have to win and have to go out to win well with a bonus point to put some pressure on Sidcup.”

Colchester squad: James Mitchell, Matt Adamson, Andrew le Chevalier, Elliott Castle, Liam Pickett, Ollie Pickett, Dan Whiteman, Ollie White, Brett Cutbush, Chris Withers, Jack Wiggins, Calum Irvine, Damien Brambley, Jon Vine, James Crozier, Tom Crozier, Jako Nel, Nick Flexman.
