IAN Henderson insists Colchester United are where he wants to be and he hopes to have his signature on a new contract soon.
The U’s midfielder is still negotiating parts of his new deal with the club and said he has a few things to straighten out before putting pen to paper But he added there is nothing major getting in the way of him extending his time at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The 26-year-old former Norwich trainee said: “My agent and I have spoken to the gaffer (John Ward) and (chairman) Robbie Cowling and we are still negotiating at this moment in time.
“This is where I want to be.”
