Colchester United striker Steven Gillsepie has recovered from the hamstring injury that has sidelined him for the last three games.

Manager John Ward said Gillespie was out of the treatment room and had trained this week ahead of tomorrow’s game at Plymouth.

He said Gillespie would come back into contention for the game and the U’s boss was also pleased to see midfielder John-Joe O’Toole back in action this week.

O’Toole played 55 minutes in the U’s reserves’ 3-0 friendly defeat by Major League Soccer side San Jose Earthquakes, at Spurs Lodge on Wednesday.

See the Essex County Standard this week for more on this story, all the latest news and exclusive views on the U's.
