Sanchez Watt said hitting Colchester United’s winner against Stevenage was the “best feeling ever”.

Watt’s brilliant strike ten minutes after half-time was enough to secure Colchester a 1-0 victory over Boro’ - ending their 11-match unbeaten run in the process.

Watt said: “To score your first goal for a club and also help them win is the best feeling ever."

Congratulations, Sanchez! What a goal! It really knocked the wind out of Stevenage's sails and sent a shock wave through the division! Your contribution, along with those from Gavin Massey, Craig Eastmond and an outstanding display from Jabho Ibehre, have been immense since you all joined, has made the difference. It was obvious when the substitutions were made, that the replacements just were not in the same league, and missed a number of 'sitters'. However, that said, it was an unbelievable result! Long may it continue! Another 3 points on Saturday and a hatful of goals, hopefully... Up the U's!!
