Colchester United keeper Ben Williams may make the trip to Walsall tomorrow but is unlikely to play after recovering from an ankle injury.
Manager John Ward said: “Ben Williams is back in training.
“We have been working closely with him this week with both our goal-keeping coach George (Ademola Bankole) and our physio Tony Flynn.
“He will travel to Walsall and while he won’t start, we will consider the bench, but he will certainly play in the reserve game at Stevenage in the week and then he is right back in the frame.
“Ben Coker is back and I will put him in the squad for Walsall as a reward for all the hard work he has put in to come back from his ankle injury.
“Paul Reid is in training but tomorrrow will come too soon as he hasn’t trained since Rochdale and we don’t need to take a risk with him.”
