Safe hands - Jamie Jones has signed for Colchester United on a 93-day emergency loan.
Colchester United have signed goalkeeper Jamie Jones on a 93-day emergency loan from Preston North End.
Jones, who made nearly 180 appearances during a spell at Leyton Orient, is set to go straight into the U's squad for their game at Chesterfield tomorrow.
Jones will now compete with Elliot Parish to play between the sticks for Colchester.
