BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT ran out 5-1 winners at Tiptree Jobserve, in their final pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
Luke Read netted twice and there was one apiece for Josh Mayhew, Lamell Howell and Jake Turner.
Elsewhere on Tuesday night, WIVENHOE TOWN completed their impressive pre-season with a 1-0 success at home to Burnham Ramblers.
Owen Bryan scored their winner in the first half.
FC CLACTON lost 4-0 at Ryman League side Bury Town, HALSTEAD TOWN beat Beacon Hill 2-0 and MALDON & TIPTREE drew 1-1 at home to a Stevenage XI.
