David Carolan is to leave his role as Colchester United's sports scientist to link up with Birmingham City.
The U's fitness guru is departing the U's after seven years to take over as Head of Sports Science at St Andrews.
Carolan first arrived at Colchester in 2008, after succeeding Donough Holohan in the role.
He has worked under six different managers, during his time at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
