George Moncur believes the opportunity to move out of the League One relegation zone will spur Colchester United on tonight.
The U’s head to high-flying Chesterfield knowing that a victory at the Proact Stadium might lift them out of the bottom four, depending on other results.
There is a full programme of fixtures in League One, on what promises to be another pivotal night at both ends of the table.
And with Tony Humes’ side just three points adrift of safety, midfielder Moncur knows how vital their game against the Spireites.
Moncur said: “We know that we can move out of the bottom four with a win and that will give us a great chance.
“We have to pick ourselves up and get something from the Chesterfield game.
“Our away form has been good all year and I have full faith in the boys to get something."
