IT’S all change at the foot of the Thurlow Nunn League premier division as FC CLACTON clambered out of the bottom three – at the expense of neighbours WIVENHOE TOWN.

While the Dragons succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at home to fellow strugglers Thetford - Ben Parkin netted their consolation from the penalty spot - the rejuvenated Seasiders strolled to a 4-0 victory at Diss.

It was their third straight win and hoisted them two points clear of Wivenhoe, ahead of Monday's huge derby between the sides at the Rush Green Bowl (kick-off 3pm).

Kevin Coyle netted twice in the victory at second-from-bottom Diss and he was joined on the score-sheet by Billy Wales and skipper Aaron Condon.

David Coyle’s side are now three points behind Haverhill Rovers, who went down 3-0 at in-form BRANTHAM ATHLETIC.

Ollie Mann netted twice and Needham Market loanee Adam Mills the other as the Imps made it five straight wins, stretching their unbeaten run to eight games.

STANWAY ROVERS put their disappointing week behind them as they won at Walsham-le-Willows.

Angelo Harrop’s side found out last week that they cannot go up this season as their ground failed to meet the necessary grading requirements for promotion to the Ryman League.

The news was undoubtedly a blow, but Rovers put their disappointment to one side as they won 2-1.

Jake Clowsley scored both goals to help his team recover from back-to-back defeats against Kirkley & Pakefield and Norwich United.

It also helped take them back up to third, leapfrogging Kirkley, ahead of Monday's home match against Brantham.

In division one, HALSTEAD TOWN drew 1-1 at home to Debenham LC.
