STANWAY ROVERS and WIVENHOE TOWN shared the spoils from a 1-1 draw, in tonight’s Thurlow Nunn League derby at the Hawthorns.
Charlie Goodlake put the Dragons ahead, following a great run and long-range strike in the second half.
But Stanway - who had won seven premier division matches in a row prior to tonight’s contest – netted a late equaliser through Mike Fondop-Talun.
Rovers stay third in the table, level on points with second-placed Godmanchester Rovers.
At the other end of the table Mo Osman’s Dragons, fighting relegation, are now five points clear of third-from-bottom neighbours FC Clacton.
