SAMMIE Szmodics is setting his sights on double figures after notching his fourth Colchester United goal.
The midfielder showed his predatory instincts to strike in just the second minute and earn his side a precious three points at Oldham on Saturday.
It came hot on the heels of scoring Tuesday’s consolation goal at Sheffield United.
And having found the net twice in five days, the 19-year-old is hoping his purple patch continues.
“The ball was headed back across goal and I took a gamble,” he said.
“It was a close-range finish and a poacher’s goal, around the six-yard box.
“But I was very happy with it and would love a few more. Double figures would suit me fine.
“The main thing was the result, though, and it was a massive three points."
