HANNAH Stodel and Saskia Clark are aiming to grab medals in Miami.
The Mersea Island sailors are competing in the ISAF Sailing World Cup event in Biscayne Bay.
In the Paralympic sonar class, Stodel, along with John Robertson and Steve Thomas, head into today’s final medal race in fourth place.
They dropped out of the podium positions in yesterday’s fourth day of racing when their second in the first race was marred by a disqualification in the second.
Clark, along with helm Hannah Mills, is competing in the women’s 470 class.
Clark and Mills head into today’s fifth day of racing lying in second place following a seventh and 11th from their two races on Thursday.
The London 2012 Olympic silver medallists are led by the New Zealand pairing that denied them the gold, Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie.
The women’s 470 medal race is scheduled to be held tomorrow.
