Winning ways – Clementine Dean, Tabitha Weston and Shalom Asemota were victorious in the Colchester Blackwater School Sports Partnership 3v3 basketball competition
A team of three St Mary’s Year 7 basketballers took on three-player teams from local schools to win the Colchester Blackwater School Sports Partnership 3v3 Basketball Competition.
Clementine Dean, Tabitha Weston and Shalom Asemota dominated the opposition at every stage, winning 6-2 against Thomas Lord Audley School A, 8-2 against Thurstable, 14-6 against Philip Morant and 8-0 against St Benedict’s.
In the semi-final, they won 14-4 against TLA B and the impressive 10-0 scoreline against Philip Morant in the final secured their victory in the competition.
