Colchester United boss Tony Humes will be given any extra cash created by player departures in this month’s transfer window.
But the U’s say they are yet to receive any firm interest in their prize asset Freddie Sears.
U’s chairman Robbie Cowling has confirmed Humes will receive any additional funds generated by player exits, should he wish to use it.
