HEYBRIDGE Swifts have today confirmed that they are parting company with manager Keith Wilson.

The former Burnham Ramblers boss took charge at Scraley Road in early July.

He was appointed as a replacement for Jody Brown, who had left to take the reins at Grays Athletic.

But is has been a difficult start to the season for Swifts, who currently sit 20th in Ryman League division one north with five wins, five draws and 11 defeats from their 21 games.

The most recent loss was Tuesday's 3-0 setback at Wroxham.

Chairman Nick Bowyer said: β€œIt is extremely disappointing that things have not worked out for Keith, however he will always be made welcome at Scraley Road.

"I would like to wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his honesty, integrity and the hard work he has put into the role. I'm sure he will be back involved in football management soon. β€œ

Director of football Wayne Bond will be taking over in the interim period while the club take their time to choose a successor to Wilson and look to move into the second half of the season.

Bond, will be in charge of the team this coming Saturday when Tilbury visit Scraley Road.
