Meg Wall-Peters was part of the East Angels side that won the 2014 Under-14 Girls’ Inter-Regional Water Polo Championship.
The Colchester player set off to Liverpool to take on teams from Scotland, North East Region, London, East Midlands and two teams from the North West.
East Angels battled though to secure a semi-final against North East Steelers.
An impressive 11 goals from Eve Poole and five from Ella Cotton plus contributions from Wall-Peters and Poppy Mayall resulted in a mammoth 19-3 victory and a place in the final against North West Lightning. In a close match it was the Angels who triumphed 7-5, with goals from Eve Poole, Eloise Bailey, Poppy Mayall (2), Wall-Peters (2) and Cotton.
Further to this, Colchester’s Daniel Eaton has recently been called up to the GB under-14’s talent squad to join team-mate Ben Chapman.
