Alan Cursons claimed his maiden Playgolf Colchester division one win in style.
He won the September medal after recording a nett 61 score.
That left him nine under handicap and eight under the Competition Scratch Score of 69.
Cursons (12) will now receive a shot handicap reduction for next time out. Grant Chapman (ten) was runner-up after beating Paul Addison (11) on countback – the pair were six shots adrift with nett scores of 67.
Chapman shot a gross 77 while Addison carded 78, with ten pars the highlight of his card.
George Stewart (19) won division two with a nett 64, after carding six pars and a birdie on the par-three 16th to receive a shot playing handicap cut.
Martin Kilbey was second after carding a nett 66, while Nathan Soton (19) was third on his division two debut.
