Jabo Ibehre feels Colchester United’s early League One performances show they aren’t far away from their first win of the season.
The U’s gained a 2-2 draw with Oldham on the opening day and felt frustrated to leave Bristol City with nothing after a 2-1 defeat against one of the league’s promotion favourites last weekend.
But both games showed promising signs and ahead of the U's game at Notts County tonight, striker Ibehre thinks the first three-point haul won’t be too long in coming.
He said: “We feel we aren’t far away from getting the first win.
“It’s still early days and people are still finding their rhythm after pre-season, but you can see from the performances so far that it is getting there."
