Joe Dunne insists his Colchester United players should not fear going to the Valley tonight.

The U’s are aiming to cause an upset by beating their Championship hosts and reaching the second round of the Capital One Cup.

U’s boss Dunne said: “We’ll be going there trying to win the match - our goal and focus is to get to the next round.

“The group we have are a confident, capable group who can give Charlton a lot of problems.

“There are no replays here – we’re going to have to do something to trouble Charlton, that’s for sure so we have got no fear going to the Valley."
