Colchester United manager Joe Dunne insists he does not feel under pressure to make any further new signings before the new season starts.
The U’s boss bolstered his squad with a trio of new signings last week, bringing in full-backs Sean Clohessy and Ben Gordon along with goalkeeper Chris Lewington.
In addition, David Wright and Josh Thompson both penned new one-year deals at the club.
Some Colchester supporters are keen to see a new forward at the Weston Homes Community Stadium before the new League One season starts, following Clinton Morrison's departure at the end of the last campaign.
But Dunne says he is content with his squad, though at least one loan signing is possible before the big kick-off on August 9.
Dunne said: “I’m happy with the squad and I’m happy with the players that we’ve got."
