Yes-he should leave-I don't believe anyone should be in a job-any job-more than ten years. And Mark has probably seen his best years at Colchester.

What concerns me is that our retention of players offered continuation contracts is abysmal and at the end of this next season there are an awful lot of important players coming to the end of their contracts. I don't blame Cousins in the slightest, having had very little first team action in the last two seasons combined with low level wages.

It's almost a non brainer.....

He is too good to be a sub goalie.
He is too expensive to be a sub goalie.
Promote the best young goalie that we have to the bench for minimum wage and experience, then if Walker gets an injury, bring in a goalie on loan with a small amount of the cash saved on Cousins wage. That's what all other small clubs have to do.

I don't understand- why talk about the end of the season?
If the August results are bad -- 2 Irish Managers will be on their way out.
There is no money for passengers-from Kit man to Life President.
Whatever cash there is has to be used to pay the most effective 11 players on the pitch.

Sorry Baz, Shrub end lad answered this one. In an ideal world,Cousins would be happy to stay and we could afford him to. No one has mentioned Walker moving now or later. Still a no brainer for me.

Have you looked at how many players will be out of contract in a years time? Virtually all the important players will be out of contract at the end of 2014/15 and judging by our inabilities to retain players once their contracts have expired, this has to be viewed with some trepidation. You are naive if you think we will get more than a couple of players through from the academy at a time that will make the grade.

It is the job of the Club to entertain the customers.
It is not our job to worry about 12 months time.
England are out of the WC-the Manager and the over paid Scousers should be sacked-then move on.
