Colchester and East Essex are set to lock swords with a prolific Indian Premier League batsman at Castle Park tomorrow.

Hanuma Vihari is expected to play for early leaders Hutton against Colchester, in the Shepherd Neame League division one clash.

Vihari, who has played for Indian side Hyderabad, hit an unbeaten double century for Hutton off 138 balls against Ardleigh Green, last weekend.

The 20-year-old was a member of the India team that won the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Australia, in 2012.

And he also once claimed the prize wicket of West Indies captain Chris Gayle while playing for Hyderabad in a league match in India.

Both sides head into the division one clash having made good starts to their respective league seasons.

Colchester have won and drawn their opening two matches, following up their opening win over Southend with a draw against Wickford.

Hutton beat Ardleigh Green last weekend, after seeing their opening-day clash with Buckhurst Hill abandoned.
