Dominic Vose is on the verge of pledging his future to Colchester United.
The U's attacker is close to agreeing a new two-year deal at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Vose made 28 appearances for Colchester this season, after joining them on a free transfer.
And now the 20-year-old is about to pen to paper on a fresh deal with the League One club.
U's boss Joe Dunne said: “We’ve agreed everything with Dominic and it’s just a case of getting some paperwork finished.
“We’ve very close with it and we’ve agreed in principle.
“It’s a two-year contract which will give him the chance to progress."
