FC CLACTON suffered a hugely disappointing 2-1 defeat at Woodbridge Town tonight.
The hosts started the night bottom of the Thurlow Nunn League premier division but netted in either half to establish a 2-0 lead.
Aaron Condon then pulled one back with a well-placed free-kick.
But despite plenty of late pressure, the Seasiders were unable to secure a share of the spoils.
Woodbridge's victory has taken them off the bottom of the table, as they have leapfrogged Wivenhoe Town.
