IN a game that saw three penalties, Heybridge Swifts fell to defeat at Thurrock.
They lost their Ryman One North encounter 3-2 on Thursday night.
Swifts got off to a good start when they went ahead from a Thurrock own goal on 13 minutes.
However, the home side equalised when David Knight scored from the penalty spot on 25 minutes.
But Swifts were awarded a penalty of their own and Jamie Guy made no mistake with his spot-kick on the stroke of half-time.
After the break, Lewis Clark headed Thurrock back on level terms on 70 minutes.
Three minutes later, Thurrock took the lead when Knight scored from the penalty spot again after Michael Toner handled in the box.
The home side then held on to secure the win.
