Colchester United midfielder David Wright deserve more credit for the role he plays for the team.
That is the view of U's boss Joe Dunne, who has described the experienced utility man as his "unsung hero".
Wright has been a mainstay in Colchester's midfield this season and has been one of their leading appearance-makers.
Dunne said: “David’s role is key in this team and he was key to us staying up, last season.
“He’s an under-rated player, who plays a big part for us.
“He has incredible experience of playing at the highest level.
“He’s an unsung hero to the team who deserves a lot more credit."
