HEYBRIDGE Swifts were thwarted by the weather yet again.
After the weekend’s match at Scraley Road against Chatham Town fell victim to a waterlogged pitch their Tuesday night Ryman division none north fixture away to Thurrock went the same way.
The referee called the match off less than an hour before kick-off.
However, Swifts manager Jody Brown was not upset by the decision.
He said: “I think it was the right decision, we were all there.
“There were three areas of the pitch that were a problem and by the time we were driving away it was pouring with rain."
