United we stand says...

This sounds a very sensible option now that the list of outstanding games is stacking up. I have questioned the fitness of players at various times during the season because, despite our 'state of the art' training facilities, I have seen several League 1 teams out-run us for 90 minutes. Suspensions etc also tend to add up as the season drifts on.
Good luck in your quest, Joe. Your record for us with loan signings so far has been pretty good.

MelbourneColUtd says...

Lucas Neill is uncontracted and training with Blackburn at the moment. He is 35, so no spring chicken, but has a wealth of experience and is desperate for playing time as he still hopes to go to Brazil with the Socceroos for the World Cup. Might be the sort of player who could help both Tom Eastman and Magnus in their ongoing development.
