Colchester United have signed goalkeeper Sam Walker on a permanent basis from Chelsea.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed two successful loan spells with the U's from the Stamford Bridge club.
And now Walker, whose contract at Chelsea was due to expire at the end of this season, has committed his future to Colchester by signing an 18-month deal with the U's.
Colchester boss Joe Dunne said: "Sam us another young and hungry footballer who has decided to come here and play, which is great testament to what we are doing here at Colchester United."
