Colchester United have bolstered their squad ahead of their trip to play Tranmere Rovers with the addition of young winger Blair Turgott from Premier League outfit West Ham United.
The 19-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for Sam Allardyce’s men.
But he made 11 league and cup appearances for Phil Parkinson’s Bradford City side during their promotion-winning season, last year.
Turgott has played for England up to under-19 level and scored in the under-17 World Cup against Canada, in 2011.
Turgott follows in the footsteps of Elliot Lee and Dan Potts, who have recently enjoyed loan spells with the U’s.
