Dominic Vose’s recent efforts for Colchester United have been rewarded in the shape of a new deal.
The former West Ham United youngster has made three appearances for the U’s since signing for them on a monthly contract earlier this month.
Vose, 20, impressed on his first start for Colchester, helping them to a 3-1 win over MK Dons on Tuesday night.
And his performances in training and in matches have been acknowledged by the U’s, who have handed him another short-term deal.
U’s boss Joe Dunne said: “Dominic has taken his opportunity and he has to keep doing it.
“There’s still plenty to work on with his game but he has got bags of enthusiasm and energy, which can be infectious.
“We brought him in as a development player on a short-term contract and we’ve extended that for another short period of time.
“While he has his chance, he has to keep taking it.
“These are the kind of players that I love, because they’re hungry players.”
