Jarrod sets new bests in nationals
SWIMMER Jarrod Bradfield clocked new bests during a fantastic performance at the British National Championships, in Sheffield.
The 16-year-old was unfazed by the challenge of competing with many of the country’s best swimmers and clocked new personal bests in both the 100 metres and 50m freestyle.
He managed a time of 53.83 seconds in the 100m, eclipsing his previous record of 54.44s.
And in the 50m, he shaved a fraction off his old best of 24.97s to clock 24.87s.
