Colchester United have signed West Bromwich Albion left-back Bradley Garmston on a one-month youth loan.
The 19-year-old, who is yet to make a senior appearance for the Baggies, will provide competition for John White and has gone straight into the U's squad for their League One clash at Sheffield United tomorrow.
Colchester boss Joe Dunne said: “Bradley’s a player we’ve seen a few times and we’ve seen him play in all kinds of games.
“He’s still only a young player and the kind of player I’ve been bringing to the club, at the development stage of his career.
“He’s athletic, quick and he likes to get up and down - we’re pleased to have secured his services."

Clearly john is not a joe dunne player for his own future it's best if he looks for another club now.

Great. Competition for places.
Joe is putting a lot more emphasis on a strong defence.
I've always believed in building a team from the back.
I think J.W was trying to do this...
'alas' a string of bad results, and his no nonsense attitude made him unpopular with some fans,
Hopefully we can put all this behnd us, and now we can get on with the business of league one survival.
