U's close in on Ibehre signing
9:12am Monday 14th January 2013 in Sport By Jonathan Waldron
New arrival? Jabo Ibehre is set to seal a permanent move to Colchester United.
Colchester United are closing in on the permanent signing of striker Jabo Ibehre.
The powerful forward spent three months on loan at Colchester earlier in the season, making 15 appearances for them and scoring four goals.
He has fallen down the pecking order at stadium:mk, following the signing of Izale McLeod from Portsmouth.
U’s boss Joe Dunne said: “I’m 99.9 per cent sure that I’ve brought an experienced, powerful player to the club which will make us stronger in the spine of the team."
See Monday's Daily Gazette for more on this story and all of the latest Colchester United news, including a full match report, pictures and reaction to the U's defeat against Scunthorpe.

Here is my verdict.....
I might be wrong........
1) O'toole went on loan to get match fit and free up his wages to bring in a couple of loan signings till Woody goes.
2) Woody gets a transfer, freeing up his wages to be spent on a much needed striker.
3) O'Toole returns in a straight position swap for Woody.
4) New striker comes in on Woodys fee and wage.
5) New loan signings now not required after the month.

wILL O'Toole want to comeback,Ward will try and keep him, especially after the screamer he scored on Saturday.

If JD likes playing youngsters why not start playing Pentley, Ladapo, etc.
