Joe Dunne is considering his position as Colchester United manager.
The U's boss said he is contemplating his future, following the U's 2-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Scunthorpe United this afternoon.
It was their ninth loss in a row and set a new club record for successive defeats.
Dunne said: “I just need to consider my position now.
“I need to speak to the chairman, who has been very supportive of me.
“I know what I want to try and do at the club but I love this club too much to see it suffer the way that it is at the moment."
