ANTHONY Wordsworth says he and his Colchester United team-mates must channel their frustrations into Saturday’s date at MK Dons.

The U’s were left deflated after a “harsh” 3-1 setback at home to Coventry City, in League One on Tuesday.

Joe Dunne’s side produced an impressive performance but finished empty-handed against the in-form Sky Blues.

Now Wordsworth wants his team to bounce back by getting three points at Stadium mk.

“We definitely deserved something out of the game,” said the 23-year-old.

“It wasn’t the right score and anyone who was there will know the result didn’t match the pattern of the game.

“Maybe a draw would have been a fair result but we were the better team and that’s how harsh football can be.

“We can’t be too disappointed, though, because the great thing is we’ve got another game on Saturday.

“We’ll be going into that one trying to get something out of it, to climb back up the table.

“When you get beat it’s always nice to play again as quickly as possible, otherwise you’ve got days to think about it.”
