Andy Bond believes he is back where he belongs after returning to Colchester United.

The energetic midfielder is back at the U’s after spending a month on loan at their League One rivals Crewe Alexandra.

Bond played five games during his time at Gresty Road and said it was good to get games under his belt.

But after returning to the Weston Homes Community Stadium, the former Barrow playmaker is determined to force his way into manager Joe Dunne’s plans.

Bond said: “It was good to go and get games at Crewe but I’m glad to be back.

“I want to be at Colchester and it’s where I belong."

Glad to see that JD has made it harder for players to come straight into the team.
