Dunne delighted with impressive U's win
10:26pm Tuesday 23rd October 2012 in Sport By Jonathan Waldron
Colchester United manager Joe Dunne was a happy man after seeing his side secure their third successive win in League One tonight.
The U's won 2-0 at Leyton Orient, thanks to goals from Anthony Wordsworth and Ian Henderson.
It was Colchester's fifth win in six matches under Dunne and helped them continue their excellent start under the new U's boss.
Dunne said: "We came to attack them and you have to do that.
"The only way we're going to play is attack, attack, attack.
"We did that in the first half and it was a good game to watch and we generally got control of the game of the ball.
"We scored another very good goal with a move from the back.
"They had a couple of chances which you would expect because they're at home.
"But once we got the second, I thought we controlled the game in terms of doing the things that need professionalism."

However one of the best things to see was fans, 700 on a Tuesday night in October is good, but for them to sing like that for 90minutes was great, there's seems to be a unity with the fans that there hasn't been for ages, and importantly bound between players and fans and mutual respect that was so desperately needed.
Up the u's
We're not singing anymore!!!

After being one of the fans who stayed away during the last few games of JW's reign, I can only beg for the other fans to come back. You really are missing out on something special. Now worth every penny.
