A children's charity has praised dedicated golf club fundraisers.
In just two years, Three Rivers Golf and Country Club in Cold Norton has donated an impressive £14,000 to Little Havens Children’s Hospice.
This is thanks to the dedicated fundraising efforts of Gary Ambrose, who was last year’s men’s club captain, and previous club captain Derek Briggs.
Mr Ambrose said he had been “delighted” to support the hospice.
Hospice community fundraising manager Grant Peters said the pair had “achieved so much by raising much-needed funds for Little Havens”.
He added: “The money Gary has raised - £6,000- will cover over 375 hours of nursing care for our children.”
