YOUNGSTERS from two Chelmsford schools took over the running of Chelmsford Museum for the day.
Last week they made a presentation to Chelmsford Council representatives of their experiences.
The activities were organised as part of Takeover Day, a national event led by the Children’s Commissioner for England, which gives children and young people the chance to shadow jobs, get involved in decision-making and offer their opinions on key issues.
Twenty-eight pupils from Westlands Community Primary School and Chelmer Valley High School spent the day with museum staff.
