CARE home staff didn’t let the lack of cooking equipment stop them celebrating national Sunday dinner week.
Workers at Woodland View on Turner Road, Colchester, which is due to open later this year, held a quiz with a roast dinner theme so they did not miss out on the fun.
Local pub The Albert donated vouchers to the brainbox winners who were Rocio Rojas Madero and Chantal Pemberton who were presented their prizes by pub manager Alistair Pool.
A spokesman for Woodland View said: “It was a great day for all the staff Sunday dinner week but with a difference.
“As our kitchen is not ready to be commissioned yet, we all participated in a quiz that was great fun for all the staff answering questions all linked to a theme of Sunday dinner.”
