A PR company has been shortlisted for a prestigious award for its wedding campaign at Hylands Estate.

Big Wave PR, which works with Chelmsford City Council has beenshortlisted for a CIPR Pride Award (Anglia, Thames and Chiltern) in the  best consumer campaign and is up against five other regional finalists.

This year there were over 950 entries to the CIPR regional awards, and the judging process was rigorous with a national panel of industry experts assessing the shortlisted entries and choosing the winners.

Laura Ketley, Senior Communications Officer, Chelmsford City Council, said: “We’ve been working in partnership with Big Wave PR for over fifteen months now and with their support we’ve managed to securely place Hylands Estate as the number one wedding destination in Essex.”

Founder and Managing Director of Big Wave PR, Hilary Collins, added: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for these awards.

"The campaign has gained acres of press cuttings and has ensured bride and grooms to be have Hylands Estate at the top of their dream wedding venues list.”

The winners of the CIPR Pride Awards will be announced at a gala awards event on October 1 at Homerton College, Cambridge.
