The Boswells School in Chelmsford has joined the Davenant Teaching Schools Hub and Hibernia College UK to offer first-class training opportunities for the next generation of outstanding teachers.
Working in partnership with Hibernia College UK, the school will have teacher training opportunities from September 2015 through the School Direct route.
Training places are available either at The Boswells School or in one of the partner schools for Mathematics, English, Science – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business, ICT, Computing, Design and Technology, Dance, Drama, Art, RE, Music, History, Design Technology, History and Geography.
The Boswells deputy headteacher James Donaldson said: “Training future teachers is such a privilege but also a huge responsibility.
“Without great teachers, our children cannot be inspired to become scientists, doctors, engineers or artists.
“This new partnership aligns us with the very best providers in the country to ensure that the best teachers train and work in our school for our children.”
Applicants must have a relevant degree, usually a 2:1 or above, and English and Mathematics GCSE at C or above.
