Hundreds of nature fans flocked to a farm on Sunday for the chance to bottle feed new-born lambs.
Brook Street Farm in Hedingham Road, Halstead, held a meet-the-animals open day.
Visitors donned their wellies for the day, which was held to raise money for Action Medical Research for Children.
Anne Everitt, a helper on the day, said: “We had some new lambs born this morning, they are there in the hay in the barn.
“You can’t really predict when they are going to lamb so it has been an unexpected bonus.
“Lambs are up and about straight away, because if they were out in the wild they have to be able to get away from predators as soon as they can.
“It’s been like Lambing Live, but really live.”
